There is no absolute distinction between them, but they have different emphasis on adaptation scenarios. Acupuncture is an invasive external treatment method. Whether it is the stimulation of filiform needles or the warming effect of moxibustion, it can penetrate deep into the muscle layer and acupuncture points through the epidermis, and even regulate the qi and blood of the organs through meridian conduction. It can have faster effects on problems such as pain and organ imbalance in the acute phase.
