4. Moxibustion conditioning
Moxibustion on Guanyuan, Mingmen, Zusanli and other acupoints can warm and dredge the meridians, and each moxibustion should last for 15-20 minutes. People with weak constitution can use moxibustion 2-3 times a week, being careful to avoid scalding the skin. Keep warm before and after moxibustion, and avoid contact with cold water within 2 hours after moxibustion.
5. Emotional management
Maintain a peaceful and happy state of mind to avoid long-term depression and anxiety that depletes Yang Qi. You can relieve stress through meditation, deep breathing, etc., and develop hobbies to divert your attention. When the sunshine is reduced in winter, you can improve your mood through light therapy, and seek professional psychological counseling if necessary.
You should pay attention to keeping warm from cold every day, especially protecting the waist, abdomen, ankles and other parts that are susceptible to cold. Avoid using the air conditioner for a long time in summer. You can use hot water to soak your feet to promote blood circulation. Smoking cigarettes and limiting alcohol consumption can reduce the depletion of Yang Qi, and conduct regular TCM constitution identification. People with severe Yang Qi deficiency should take Jingui Shenqi Pills, Yougui Pills and other traditional Chinese medicine preparations under the guidance of a doctor, and should not abuse warming and tonic drugs on their own.
